First, let me tell you what I am NOT. I am not a counselor, preacher or a theological major. I am just a layman. An average ordinary person that happened to have a God encounter. A very loud, outgoing, outspoken person who happened to have a miraculous God encounter that is. Prior to that I was a very loud, outgoing, outspoken atheist or agnostic.
I had many journals and notes when I met my husband and he encouraged me to begin writing them and sharing them because he loved them. So, that is how this blog was birthed. It is now also my “free therapy” and where I go to organize my thoughts as I travel this hilarious winding rollercoaster called life.
Many of the people (including the disciples) in the Bible were just ordinary people who had an extraordinary encounter with a loving God. Thankfully, there is a written account of those meetings. I hope this blog may encourage others who have also had an encounter or who want one. There are days I still need to look at this and remember it.
It’s funny to think that these writings could still be here 100 years from now and that my great (plus however many more greats) grandchildren can read them all someday. If any of my decedents are loud, outspoken, outgoing, and love to write, you probably take after me.
Social media hugs and happy blogging to all.
