A few months ago I came into contact with an individual that made me feel very claustrophobic. Like suffocating claustrophobic. I would describe that encounter with this picture. It was like a candle having a lid put on it and the flame went out.
Yesterday, I had lunch with a girlfriend and we talked for at least 2 hours. That same candle became a freaking inferno burning hot intense fire. Like singe your hair off inferno. So, I’ve given her a new name. She’s my Flame Thrower.
My Spirit man is a candle that is lit. Generally, it burns as a normal candle would. Similar to Soda Fountain chemistry relationships, the strength of the candle can be modified by the other Spirit men around me.
Which reminded me of that children’s song “this little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine”. So, I looked up the verse and it says IN RED “And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.” Mark 4:21-23. KJV.
Thank you thank you Flame Thrower friend for lighting up my Spirit man like fireworks on the Fourth of July.
“Let this love be like a fire.
Let our lives be like a flame.
Fill our souls with Your desire.
Let our passion bring You fame.” ~Jesus Culture
